Setting the Stage in an Unconventional Space
Airports aren’t designed to host large-scale celebrations, but that didn’t stop us. We transformed the brand-new terminal into a high-impact event space, bringing in our own stage, video walls, screens, lighting, audio, seating, décor, and even catering. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to complement the modern design of the terminal while ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
One of our favorite touches? Repurposing ticketing counters as event check-in stations, fully integrating the airport’s existing infrastructure into the event experience.
A Rapid Turnaround for 10,000 Guests
As if producing one major event wasn’t enough, we had just one day to tear everything down and reset for an entirely different audience. The next morning, the airport opened its doors to 10,000 guests for a public celebration, complete with family-friendly activities and self-guided tours of the terminal.
Pulling off back-to-back events of this scale required precise coordination, seamless execution, and a team willing to rise to the challenge. From logistics to lighting design, every aspect of the experience was carefully orchestrated to showcase the terminal’s grand debut in a way Kansas City would never forget.
